“If you can’t do the little things right, you will never do the big things right.”
US Special Forces Command, Naval Admiral William H. McRaven

We’re a little less intense than the average navy-seal commander, but we are equally meticulous in the way we prepare clients for endeavors big and small. If this is your first Camino and you are new to multi-day/week walking we’re here to provide solid support for your team, family or yourself.

The clinics are designed to make sure the transition from home to your first step on the Camino is seamless, enjoyable and stress-free. If you’d like, we’ll even meet you on the morning of day one and walk the first few kilometers with you as you get on your way.

Our goal is to make sure you have every detail covered, every question answered, and if for some reason you’re missing an important piece of gear or something broke, we’ll take care of making sure you leave with every thing you need.

We’ll go through our extensive checklist quickly and take time to answer questions. We’ll share tips on how to deal with anticipated problems, practice foot-taping or other techniques you want support with, as well as make sure you have the first aid supplies you need. We’ll make sure your pack and poles are perfectly fitted, offer tips on how to pack and what goes where, as well as cover different lacing techniques, foot care and energy saving techniques like the rest-step and how to use poles for maximum advantage.

Clinics start at noon. If you’d like, we can arrange to collect you from airport, train or bus and take you to your accommodation. As part of the clinic, we’ll do a quick orientation walk with you (or for you) to get any last minute items. If you’d like, we can help brush up on a few Spanish phrases, make sure you have money/banking is taken care of and even help with phone sim cards, apps, Whatsapp or any navigation apps you have questions about. Basically, our goal is to make sure you have no question unanswered and that you begin your Camino fully confident that you have every thing you need and every detail covered.

Whether you’re a group leader, or just want to start your Camino with all the skills, preparedness and confidence for the way ahead, these half-day courses in Sarria and Tui are fun and informative. If you don’t see a date which is good for you, please send us a message as we may be able to coordinate with you at other times.
